The Jig is up

On Monday, we headed out to Stonehenge which was supposed to be a 3 hour drive. Five traffic-jams-around-London later, we arrive 3 hours after our estimated arrival. We didn’t spend much time there but it was interesting that we arrived around the Summer Solstice. For a long time, it is thought that it was a Druid worship site but they have recently found that it was a burial site. There are many stone circles around the area. We visited one that had a village built right in the middle. Kale, Melissa, Becky at Stonehenge

On Tuesday, we went to Bath. We went to the Jane Austen Centre which is the house where the author Jane Austen lived 5 years of her life. After a tour, we had a proper tea in the Tea Room upstairs. Any British person would have laughed at 3 Americans acting like they knew what they were doing.

We then proceeded to the Roman Baths that had too many people. Makes me neeerrrvvvooouusss.

We returned Tuesday night.

Yesterday we gardened allllllllll Daaaaaaay. It was fun.

Today I caught up on homework, went to the Ely market (outdoor) with Kale and currently cooking supper.

Did someone say plane?
