On Monday, we headed out to Stonehenge which was supposed to be a 3 hour drive. Five traffic-jams-around-London later, we arrive 3 hours after our estimated arrival. We didn’t spend much time there but it was interesting that we arrived around the Summer Solstice. For a long time, it is thought that it was a Druid worship site but they have recently found that it was a burial site. There are many stone circles around the area. We visited one that had a village built right in the middle.
On Tuesday, we went to Bath. We went to the Jane Austen Centre which is the house where the author Jane Austen lived 5 years of her life. After a tour, we had a proper tea in the Tea Room upstairs. Any British person would have laughed at 3 Americans acting like they knew what they were doing.
We returned Tuesday night.
Yesterday we gardened allllllllll Daaaaaaay. It was fun.
Today I caught up on homework, went to the Ely market (outdoor) with Kale and currently cooking supper.
Did someone say plane?
